Open wire connector in the harness for the electric
seat motor gets dirt inside and shorts internally causing the plastic
connector to meltdown and start an under seat fire. Note: The fire can
occur anytime because the connector is always powered up, so it can
happen when the vehicle is parked. The circuit breaker for the power
seats must be removed to cut the power.
